EMPLOYMENT

Full-Time (5-6 days/week). $16 to $21 per hour, with dental, life, medical, retirement, and vision benefits. Assists pharmacists with performing data entry for new admits, new order, and pharmaceutical changes for LTC customers, including counting, measuring, and pre-packing medications, then verifying medical records for accuracy. Answering telephone and contacting physicians and LTC customers, as needed, for pharmaceutical order clarification, which may include responding to simple questions, locating items, or referring customers to other internal resources. Perform other duties as necessary. High school diploma or equivalent. Missouri Pharmacy Technician license required. QS1 software and LTC community experience preferred, but not required. Technician shifts rotate weekly (weekdays 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; weekdays 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; some Saturdays).

 

Kansas City, Missouri

Part-Time (2 days/week; on-call opportunities; full-time potential). Starts at $18 per hour. Assists pharmacists by delivering pharmaceuticals to LTC customers throughout the metro area and surrounding communities, driving up to 200-250 miles/day in an 8-hour shift. Additional responsibilities include organizing medications for delivery, obtaining proper signature upon delivery (including electronic invoicing via phone app), post-delivery scanning and filing of paperwork upon return to pharmacy, and cleaning the provided delivery vehicle as necessary (fuel and car wash expenses covered by pharmacy). Perform other duties as necessary. Safe driving record. Attention to HIPAA-compliance in patient confidentiality. Driver shift options are 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, or 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Saturdays required. Hours may shift depending upon daily order volume.
